What qualifications set you apart from other 'wellness coaches'?

I am a Board Certified-Nurse Coach. I was credentialed from the American Board of Holistic Nurses in 2024 after completing a rigorous program where I learned the mechanics and techniques of nurse coaching.

As a licensed nurse, I already have a wealth of knowledge and understanding of how to work with patients and clients. As a nurse I have a unique set of skills and resources at my disposable that most other wellness, health and fitness coaches do not. 

Prior to being credentialed, I enrolled and graduated The Nurse Coach Collective. This Program is helping Registered Nurses all over the country become nurse health coaches and leaders in their profession. We are teaching nurses to rise above the conventional model of nursing and practice their profession in a way that’s truly inspirational, modern, and impactful.”

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

While coaching and therapy can feel similar in the way that you, the client talks, we, the provider, listens and we co-create agreements on how to move forward together; therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and addressing emotional issues, nurse coaching emphasizes holistic health promotion, lifestyle modification, and empowerment to help clients achieve their wellness goals
